Network for Work at the Global Mobility Forum 2019

“Making expat life attractive” should be the motto of each stakeholder that brings and drives international skilled people around the globe. Yet, we all know that when it comes to the real move, things turn out to be a little different once you find yourself and your family in a new country.

Regardless if the relocation process is smooth or you need to take care of all the aspects of the move, there are things you can avoid by being well informed and prepared before you arrive in Norway.

Each year, since 2011, the Global Mobility Forum is held to address the present problems regarding the moving process and deals with professionals in order to find effective solutions.

Network for Work is proud and excited to be part of this year’s event, along with global mobility professionals, the relocation industry, and global citizens that moved and now live in Norway. For the upcoming event “Inspiration for 2019 - The value of global citizens and international competence in local markets”, Nikol Mard, our founder, will present the Network for Work organization to these important actors, referring to the values and principles we stand for.

She will emphasize the issue of underutilized resources in different business areas and touch on subjects like Diversity in the work force. This is the perfect opportunity for NfW to grow, learn, develop, network and find like-minded partners for future collaborations that will bring value to our members.

Notable speakers and panellists will tackle topics, such as:

· Digitalization and robotics – The future for Global Mobility Professionals;

· How to make a Norwegian leave Norway – Making expat life attractive;

· The human aspect of mobility;

· Short term assignments – getting it right;

· Oslo as a global workforce host city.

This year the Forum is partnering up with KPMG (constant advocate of international skilled work force and active promoter of Diversity and Inclusion), ECA International, Frogner House Apartments, the Oslo Chamber of Commerce and the City of Oslo.

Next time we see each other we will be happy to share some knowledge from the forum and use it to the best of interest for our network. We keep you posted!
